We emphasize on bringing in the best solutions to our clients – based on the industry best practice and products. We also produce our own line of servers and provide full lifecycle support to all the products, software and service solutions we sell. NTS was found in 1997 and is a debt-free, Minority owned small business located in Fremont CA. NTS earned ISO 9001:2008, and a Maturity Level 3 rating during its recent CMMI appraisal indicating dedication to continuous improvement and superior performance in all aspects of our business.
NTS’s engineering experts have hands-on experience with industry leading manufacturers and state-of-the-art technologies. Our professional technical staff includes systems engineers, network engineers, integration engineers, software engineers, and support technicians with Industry certifications. Our corporate quality control plan is ISO 9001:2008. Our ISO-based quality management, risk management, and software program tracking, represent a rock solid methodology that effectively supports an organization seeking to develop applications or migrate legacy systems to web based applications while preserving functionality and access to data.
NTS primarily focuses on public sector, serving DoD, intelligence, and civilian agencies and provides information technology (IT) products, Solutions and Services to Education, Federal and State and local governments. In 2010, NTS received an award as a Top 25 Defense Contractor in Silicon Valley, successfully competing against all large and small businesses. NTS was ranked as the second-largest minority-owned business in the Silicon Valley and the largest among federal systems integrators in 2012.

Fremont, CA – July 15, 2020, NTS, an information technology solutions provider to government and commercial markets announced today that it was ranked #16 on the Silicon Valley Business Journal’s 2020 list of the Top 50 largest private companies in Silicon Valley.
Companies were ranked based on their 2019 total companywide revenue volume. NTS was one of two IT solutions providers ranked in the top 20 list and only one of four IT solutions providers that made the list for the overall top 50.

Job description
The VP of Sales for SLED will develop and execute strategic sales plans, drive revenue growth, and build and manage a high-performing sales team. This role requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record in sales strategy, team management, and achieving ambitious targets.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and refine the sales approach.
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
- Set sales targets and quotas in collaboration with senior management.
- Forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual sales revenue and adjust strategies as needed to achieve targets.
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Conduct performance evaluations, set clear performance expectations, and provide regular feedback.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Lead the negotiation of significant contracts and partnerships to maximize revenue generation and market presence.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze the results, and provide strategic recommendations for improvement.
- Work closely with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with solutions offerings and customer needs.
- Meet or exceed sales targets, revenue goals, and profitability objectives.

- 10+ years of industry sales experience within SLED in the Technology industry.

Job description
In this role, you will drive NTS in State and Local Government, higher education, and K-12 Education. You will do this through heavy influencing and direct engagement with key decision-makers and influencers at various organizational levels, including C-level executives. Your role is to determine or define clear solutions that meet customers’ needs, resulting in outcomes that exceed NTS expectations. You will also collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Sales Engineers, Alliances, Channels, Distribution, and Marketing functions. Engineer, Alliances, Channels, Distribution, and Marketing functions. Ideal candidates have experience selling to SLED.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Proven experience in technology solutions selling.
- Proven experience in hunting, prospecting, and new customers.
- Identify and capture new leads, including customer/opportunity cultivation. Summarize opportunities for internal review.
- A self-motivated, proactive, results-oriented professional who can work with minimum direction.
- Meet weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales goals and sales activity requirements.
- Consistently achieve and/or exceed your assigned quotas and revenue objectives.
- Able to support marketing, sales, and business development pursuits as needed to develop and maintain accounts.
- Able to draft proposal responses and quotations as needed.
- Capable of conducting account analysis, sales projections, and critical account approach planning in assigned territory.
What We Look for in a Candidate
- Bachelor’s Degree and 5-7 years of experience directly relating (State, Local Gov’t & Education) to this job
- Able to comprehend, understand, and articulate technology solutions and how they best apply to customers.
- Strong written and verbal communication, including presentation skills.
- Experience working in SLED Technology industry is a plus.
- Experience working on large RFP projects is a plus.
- Strong team orientation and ability to build cross-functional relationships.

TCV Food Bank is a non-profit organization that provides food assistance to the residents of Alameda County. We are the largest client-direct food bank in the area. We serve up to 13,000 individuals every month through our marketplace, mobile pantry and bag lunch programs. With a staff of 6, a volunteer force of more than 1,000, and a budget that barely breaks $800,000 we are extremely efficient in distributing over 3.6 million pounds of food annually. We serve all low-income residents of Alameda County. Many of our clients come from migrant families, are under-employed, or are facing unemployment due to disability, a lack of relevant work skills, or other barriers. |
US Marine Corps Organization. The basic mission of the Marine Toys for Tots Program is to collect new unwrapped toys and distribute those toys to less fortunate children at Christmas. This community action program took place in over 800 communities covering all 50 States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. The Toys for Tots Literacy Program helped bring the gift of reading to less fortunate children across the nation and has distributed over 2 million books since the program’s inception in 2008. The UPS Store is the primary sponsor of The Toys for Tots Literacy Program and raises funds at participating locations throughout the year – to date they have raised over $5,000,000! |
